The Gooseberry Difference

The Gooseberry Natural Feed, LLC product line has been created by a Naturopath and Homeopathic Doctor, Debra Baginski, to re-establish focus on Grade A organic nutrition at a reasonable price.

Each product developed by Dr. Baginski was produced with the concept of each product complimenting the other in the line. In simpler terms, following the manufacturer's directions the possibility of toxic levels of supplementation will not occur.

Each horse is unique in their nutrional requirements. We know this because each horse is unique in the way that they metabolize their nutrition. With our patent pending Gooseberry Specialty Horse Blend, most horses reach their maximum nutritional needs around 1 pound of feed per day. We created this blend with a lower fat ratio because most horsed do not require large portions of fat in their nutritional program. If more fat is required, we recommend adding Gooseberry Soy/Flax Oil to assist in balancing their fat percentage.

How can a horse have positive nutrtion on 1 pound of feed per day?
We have eliminated the by-product. By-product is simply non-nutritional items in feed. By-products are considered the following:

• Beet Pulp
• Wheat Middlings
• Grain By-product
• Processed By-product
• Rice Hulls
• Soy Hulls
• Processed Molasses
• By-product of Molasses

To explain further, by-product is the non-nutritional part of grain. For example, a soybean is the "bean" that is encased in a hull or covering that protects the bean. The by-product of the soybean is the soy "hull". The bean has been removed and the hull is left.

Many times, commercial feeds will require larger portions of by-product based feeds to be fed in order to meet the recommended daily vitamin requirements. Gooseberry Natural Feed,LLC products do not contain by-products thereby reducing the portion requirements.

The entire product line when used in accordance with the directions will give the maximum level of nutrition without the worry of over-supplementation. There are only the freshest, all natural ingredients used in our entire product line.
